Children Learn Through Play!

Welcome to Upper Falls Nursery School (UFNS).
UFNS has been serving the community as a non-profit preschool since 1969. Upper Falls Nursery School began as a Cooperative Nursery School run by a board of Upper Falls residents. It took place in the "First Church of the Village of UF" on Summer Street. When the Emerson Community Center was established in 1979, UFNS moved to their present location. Most of their teachers were and are currently Upper Falls residents. Their children are UFNS graduates. While no longer a "cooperative", UFNS maintains many of the qualities of a co-op. Families are welcome to be involved in the school in a variety of ways. The school plans family activities throughout the school year.
